This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

Hello. I'm new to this forum, so forgive me if this topic has been covered.

I'm trying to raise money for the MS Society of Canada and I'm looking for innovative ideas to increase the amount of donations I received so far.

I have already tapped into my friends, family and friends-of-friends.

Other than corporate sponsorship (which is filled with "red tape"), does anyone have any ideas to tap into the community somehow?

I thought about using social networking (Facebook, etc.) but I can't quite envision how this would work.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Hi Justin, welcome to TIMS.

I'm not chock full of ideas but you may want to have a look at how others are using facebook to fundraise for various causes, to get an idea.

You may hear from other members with more suggestions too.
