I am 25 and was recently diagnosed with MS in December of 2009. My fist exacerbation only last about 3 weeks after some hard core I.V. Steroids. It was only in my hands, arms and upper back then went into complete remission until 5 weeks ago. Now my this exacerbation has be worse then my first one. It started with left leg numbness only after a week it went to me loosing full use of my right leg then to dizziness and facial and mouth numbness and then after my right leg healed it went back again after a week, loosing even loss of my toes. I decided to take the pill form of steroids as included with my daily Copaxone. I am doing better walking and hopefully I can run again (as exercise and running is my life and has been for years, beside my family). This facial numbness is awful though it feels like its not going away. Its on the left side of my face which includes my tongue (loss of taste),gums, lips and a bit of my cheek, loss of my left side peripheral vision and I cant hear well from my left ear sometimes my speech slurs if I talk alot. Has this facial stuff ever happened to anyone else? If so how long dose it last, dose it go away completely? Anything or any type of natural thing that can help? Thank you in advance. I don't understand this, I have no other health problems never had a vision problem in my life till this.Any and all helpful advie is greatly appreciated.

looks like your problem is pretty unique, with no one responding.

I have nothing similar, so can't help from experience.
But thought if you are still having these problems, maybe checking out the Inclined Bed Therapy thread, and some of the diet and supplement suggestions might be helpful.

Good luck!

The left side of my face going numb (looked like I had a stroke) was what led me to the hospital and after a week of tests, my MS Dx.
I was biting my toungue, drooling, slurred speech, ect... The whole left side of my face was drooped.
After the Dx, I went home and the left side paralysis continued... To the point it was pissing me off. Everyone thought I was dumb or drunk.
Eventually it went away, ummmm.... about 4-5 weeks. Havent had anymore problem since..
