I just read that she donated 10 million euros (15.4 million dollars)
to the University of Edinburgh to establish a MS research center

That's great news, lets just hope they use the money wisely.

Oh and it was in pounds, not euros..... it's the only thing we have left that is British :D

Prior to this donation

Unsure as to when - JK Rowling’s disassociated herself from MS Society some months ago this must shave come as a blow to them as she gave lots of money plus her disassociation must have been another blow........

Around the same time NICE (UK’s medical governing body) asked the Pharmo guys to reduce the cost of the MS medication being supplied to the NHS based the drugs were not effective and this based on NICE own four year research ............. and not the Drug company massage numbers....

Also at the same time MS Society disassociated them self’s from the sharing of risk factor from the pharmaceutical companies on the MS meds .
Alot of disassociating going on in the UK
