If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

HI! I'm an EDSS about 5.5 self score: limited walking etc, use a cane, can go about the length of a football field on my feet. My grandbaby was sick and I HAD to go, so went to virginia to see him in April. I had to use a chair in the airport...those places are so huge! I'm on abx you can see my regimens entry as I started recently.

What I would like to ask haveing recently slipped to this level of dysfunction and having not travelled at all for several years since I was waiting to get better :? , where have people gone that they found to be very accomodating to impaired abilities? Is there anywhere you can go that is ust very great? Where have people gone that they felt was too difficult to recommend to others with MS?
I have not wanted to think along these lines, but now I see if I do not I will not go anywhere . I bet there's someone to call or to contact if you want to be comfortable ,say, in Hawaii. Who knows how to do this?

Blessings
Marie

I travel as much as I can too. I guess it is hard to swallow but you can ask your travel agent for places that accomodate handicapped people....There are trips that are all organized for that. You may end up with older folks but the trip may be more pleasant than you think. I am not sure this answers your question because, let's say you want to go to Hawaii, it has to be a hotel and/or resort that has facilities for us. No way out of it. Take good care. Carole
