I am in Limbo Land, where I have a chronic MS-type illness (with all the classic symptoms, numbness and tingling in the legs, leg spacisity, bluriness in my left eye, fatigue etc) but have not received a diagnosis.
Is there anyone else who is in the same position, or was in Limbo Land before their diagnosis?
One thing that makes me feel a big better is that there are people who are in the same boat as I am. One of my friends from church was in Limbo Land for 13 years. She had the same symptoms as I have, and we would often talk about our problems together. Finally last year she got diagnosed with MS. And while I was really glad she got a diagnosis, I was also a little jealous, not because I WANT to have MS, but because I am pretty sure I have it and just want to know officially... because being in Limbo Land sucks. I desperately want to be in Diagnosed Land.
Are there any other citizens of Limbo Land?

A neurologist should run a few tests: Brain and cervical MRI, preferably 3Tesla, lumbur puncture, blood tests to make sure no other condition could cause the same symptoms. McDonald Criteria for MS sais you eitehr have 9 lessions and 2 consecutive attacks of different types, or lessions and the olligoclonal bands come positive in the lumbur puncture.
