Speaking of CIDP, here is a recent paper that looks at the regulatory Tcell function (Treg) of people with this disease compared with healthy controls:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19886739
The researchers conclude that the people with CIDP have Tregs that are defficient at suppressor activity compared to healthy individuals.
Thanks, gainsbourg. I'll add this to my thread I started in the Natural Approach section regarding Tregs.

CV factor- I think a lot can be learned about MS by esatablishing what it has in common with similar demyelinating diseases like CIDP. I wonder if anyone has tested whether varicella zoster antibody DNA is also found in the cebrospinal fluid of those who have CIDP?
I didn't know about the Tregs thread - will read it soon as poss.
