Hello,
I am new to this forum. I have just recently had a relapse and went through a three day course of steroids. It started two weeks ago with a three day series of migraines which progressed to a horrible burning sensation around my neck and head (may not sound very painful, but I could brush or touch my head for several days and had to keep cold towels on my head because it felt like I had burns on my head and neck), then a few days later I had the most dreaded thing happen, trigeminal neuralgia happen to me. It was literally a week of total hell (excuse the expression). I have sense not recovered. I have recovered from the pain and "symptoms", but I am left unable to function in life, no energy, extreme weakness everywhere, unsteady on my feet, nauseous, my face is drawn and pale and I look like a ghost.
I guess my question is, has anyone had this happen where you don't recover very quickly? I usually recover and feel much better after a week or two, but this time I keep thinking I will feel better tomorrow, then tomorrow comes and I feel the same. I am the mother of four and am very frustrated, hello? of course frustrated, but yikes! Just would like to hear of any similar situations or input.
Thanks so much,
Renee
