Numb Tongue

Post by Alicia »

Hi,

My most recent MS symptom is having a numb tongue. The top of my tongue feels numb. It is really weird. It feels like a novacaine numbness. I can still taste food, but not as well. It has been going on for a couple of weeks now. Has anyone else had this symptom?

Yup, I've had it. Actually, earlier in life I had a botched wisdom tooth operation that slashed a nerve and half my tongue has been numb since then anyway, so it was tough to pin down. Truthfully, it went away in about a week for me. It was right at Thanksgiving last year so I had quite an annoying time trying to feel around for strings of turkey in my teeth... just pray it goes away, I guess.
