This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

I am currently on my second case case of optic neuritis. 3 years ago was in my left eye and then this year in the right eye.
In both cases the swelling had decreased over a period of 4-6 months without any type of medication. Neither case of ON had any pain associated but did impact my vision mainly dealing with bluriness. Did not affect color vision. The second case had alot more swelling than the first

I have had a brain mri and came back clean. My doctor has ordered an NMO IgG test and I am awaiting results. In addition I am having a MRI on my C Spine on Monday to check for lesions. I experience upper back pain, muscle spasms and weakness in my arms/hands.

Everything I read seems to indicate optic neuritis associated with Devics is typically severe. Has anyone been diagnoses with either MS or Devics who did not experience optic neuritis with major severity? Thanks
