"Lidoderm lidocaine 5% patches" greatly helped my rib cage MS Hug pain. If not for these patches, I would have jumped.

Up to three patches can be worn at one time, 12 hours on, 12 hours off. The lidocaine works by DIRECTLY COATING the nerves under and near the patches. The lidocaine does not travel through the circulatory system so does not negatively affect the brain nor liver. There are no contraindications with other meds. No adverse side effects.
