If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Drop Foot

Post by JSpeece »

Asking more questions......

What is folks experience with drop foot? This has come on for me over the course of the last week and is, what I would consider, really beginning to make walking difficult and also uncomfortable in the shin. It's happening in only one foot. I have an emergency appointment with my neuro on Monday.

I did pinch a nerve in my back three weeks ago so I am hoping that has caused this and it will go away. I'm not sure though...

An AFO can help or a FES. Ampyra could help too. Lots of options to try if it continues. But drop foot is a serious enough exacerbation to call for steroids as well.
