If it's on your mind and it has to do with multiple sclerosis in any way, post it here.

Interferon therapy and tattooing

Post by gabriellelm »

Hi all! I got my dx in deember of 2011, and began taking Rebif in March 2012. Prior to beginning the therapy, I acquired a few tattoos, and never had any issue with healing or ink retention. My most recent tattoo, just two weeks ago (and a few months into therapy) has taken forever to heal (which I expected), but has also lost some of the ink. As I've never bad a problem with this before, I'm wondering if anyone else has had any experience with tattooing and interferon therapy?

In my experience with Avonex, Ifn-B seemed to slow wound healing.
