Does anyone else find they get hot way too fast and it seems to make you not able to do much??? Everyone thinks I'm lazy. I just feel sometimes like I'm about to drop dead...

Hi everyone, how are you all coping with this incredible heat?

If you need some tips etc. please check out the MSRC's Heat Intolerance page - http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm/fuseact ... ageid/1708

Hello Amity- you're not being lazy at all! I get overheated very easily myself and unfortunately, tend to be a hermit in this hot weather. I avoid outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day. For example, I walk my dog first thing in the morning and evening hours when the sun is less brutal. If I have any cooking to do, that gets done in the morning as well. Unless of course I enlist my husband! He's usually accommodating and is a great help when I feel useless. I also have a cooling vest outfitted with ice packs that I wear which seems to help. The good news is this heat won't last forever and with any luck, the temps will start cooling down. I think it's been a rough summer at least for all of us in the states.

A couple of weeks ago it was murder for me, so so tired and sluggish that I mostly went out for short times and cooled off, repeat. Slept a lot, but kept drinking water and doing what I could get done. I went into the dollar general and had to have the girl bring me the house wheelchair, because my legs were getting to be like...on fire lol... I asked for assistance at my car, to hold the chair while I got my ass in there and wouldn't you know it, a previous, embarrassing purchase lays there in plain view lol.

What a shitty day, hot, humid and it whipped my ass.
