This was her favourite picture of mine.



I got this letter just over a week ago:


"I'm not sure how much you are up to date. I think you should know.

Julie passed away this evening at about 6:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. She was with us at home.

I do appreciate the graciousness of the friendship you had with her. The prints you sent meant a lot to her. I will incorporate some in her memorial services, and then keep them as part of my memory of her.

It's peaceful now. She is in God's good hands."


Over a year of incessant trigeminal neuritis was just too much to handle, with everything else, but in the end she seems to have died relatively peacefully from presumably untreated pneumonia: a way I would like to die when the time eventually comes......................Sarah
