i wouldn't do it. but, that's me. you have to research and there's still the chance something can be missed. remembering that some birth defects are not detectable at birth. and when the child is older would it be connected to a drug a person took. or about the time they make the connection many innocents have been effected. and, even 1 is 1 too many.

anything basically you do will be part of that baby and yes in some instances what the father does can effect the sperm. research is good but usually reseach is replaced by more research and there's no room for an oops. all drugs are foreign to the body and when a new life is being formed it's critical i feel to give it the best shot. even if a person gets off a drug it has to have plenty of time to get out of their system. maybe look up prescription drugs and non prescription drugs effects on the fetus. it can make you think.

whatever decision you make i certainly wish you the best.

thanks, have made the decision to stay on my treatment under the care of my doctors, hoping for the best, I'm very healthy and staying positive and not letting my ms get in the way of my life and the way it should be.

with all pregnancies there are risks no more than what being on interferons would be to taking paracetamol, all my doctors have said that in order for anything to be approved for pregnancy drug companies would spend billions trying to prove this so they give the standard 'do not take if pregnant' clause

I'm confident in what several doctors have advised and content with my decision after consulting with them first before taking the chance I currently am.

thanks for everyones input it highlights research completed as well as pros and cons

For me drugs are never the answer.

Vitamin C is known to increase fertility in both male and female.
Two grams each meal should do it. Healthy for mother and baby.
