I was wondering if anyone else has ever had vertigo and migraines as a result of relapse- remitting MS? I've been having these symptoms for a little over a week now but nothing seems to be helping. I've been to the doctors and nothing seems to be helping. I'm sleeping and resting as much as I can but nothing. Anyone had/have these symptoms and what helped you get through?
Thank you!

might be a magnesium connection there. any chance you can get your serum magnesium level measured to check? or you could just try boosting magnesium rich foods, taking epsom salts baths, and adding a good quality magnesium supplement into the regimen (there are a lot of bad ones out there).

For most cases of MS-related headaches, the treatment is the same as it would be in people without MS. However, it is important to see your neurologist or the physician that is treating your MS, as certain drugs may work better to treat your headaches, depending on the cause.
It is also possible that some of the medications that you are currently taking for your MS or MS symptoms could be causing the headaches, in which case the doctor may want to alter how you take them, change to another drug or have ideas on how to cope with this side effect. But as you said no doctor could help you out, i'd say consult good neurologists or MS professional online! They're a good a source of help too. If you don't have the access to a good doctor or physician then i guess, consulting them online helps too.
Good Luck dear!

I was diagnosed with migraines before the doctors figured out that it was MS. I am constantly getting vertigo, especially when I am having a flare up.

i do not have migrains--but i have had vertigo and suttle achy pain at the base of the skull increases when the vertigo kicks in. a trip to a chiro. always fixed it. then when i did nucca chiro. it is more lasting it seems. i'm sure a neuro would have prescribed drugs because that's all they do and pretty much all they know. but, everything isn't caused by these symptoms they named ms.---anyway, that's works for me and vertigo.
