Question to Jimmy re board rules

Post by stevelord »

Yo Jimmylegs, can you tell me why you remained silent when people were mocking and being rude to me such as Mr VIking cooing me idiotic and on another thread someone telling me to have my meds checked and that someone was being kind in comparing me to a crackpot, and only act to warn and lock my thread when I use the exact same words back on Mr VIking that you remained silent about when he used them in the first place to attack me? Am I therefore to take it that its ok to be the first one to attack and insult, its just not ok to use the same words back? Just checking.

Thanks, Steve Lord

steve i don't appreciate your tone.
the answer to your question is in the very first rule of the board from 2004 "all problems should be reported to the moderator(s); otherwise assume we have not seen the offending posts."
so action re rules depends first and foremost on what is flagged to the attention of the volunteer moderators (to date, nothing related to what you describe).
other than that it depends purely on what we happen to notice randomly - such as today's back and forth between yourself and viking.
i take offense at your characterization of me as a moderator when i have been nothing but civil to you in our online interactions. please consider this your final warning.
active members shape site content. if there is a problem, speak up!
