Should I go for CTS surgery?????????????

Post by Taurus »

Since my diagnosis in 2008 (probable case), my right hand had always remained numb with pain in thumb/ fingers and presentation was typical of CTS (median nerve compression). My neuro always insisted that it was due to my lesion in cervical area. My first NCS done by neuro also confirmed his remarks. But now after five years, a repeat NCS/ EMG test by a doctor of Rehab suggests bilateral CTS (more pronounced on right side). I am afraid that if I repeat the test with a neuro, he would again suggest same old MS theory. By the way, my thyroid tests are all normal. Any suggestions please.
