I don't know much about autism. But one of the things I learned recently that I found very interesting, is that autism rates vary dramatically. For example, the rate in the US is much, much higher than in the UK and Japan. Both of those are also industrialized nations. For those who say it is genetic, then why the skyrocketing rates and why does the UK not see the autism we see? Also, the rates vary dramatically within the US. For example, the Alabama has a much lower rate than the northeast.
