Abnormal blood test results

Hi folks

I was feeling exhausted all time so the doc sent me off to get a lot of things tested and I got the results yesterday.

Ok so my iron is low. I forgot what the number was but she gave me a print of part of the results and there are 2 more abnormal ones I am more worried about.

Serum gamma GT level is 51iu/L - this should be between 9 and 36 - it's a liver function test
GFR is reduced - this is kidney filtration. It's 72 mL/min and should be over 90

I barely drink!

I can't work out why - well the liver may be all the antibiotics and other stuff I take - LDN and most days modafinil.

Has anyone ever had the same?

I'd appreciate any thoughts.

What did your doctor recommend?

I was seeing her about something else and there wasn't too much time. She said the iron was low so I told her eI was taking some iron tablets. She also said the kidney function was normal - but it's clearly not. They have since asked me to make an appointment to go back and discuss results so I will.

I just wanted to see if anyone knew anything. Googling this is terrifying!
