Hi guys,

Has anyone here ever had ABSENT reflexes in some areas because I have some areas of absent, diminished and others pathologically brisk.

This still leaves the possible ms scenario in question as I thought with ms brisk reflexes was the norm.

Any advice,

Thanks,

Jane.

I have absent ankle reflexes. I don't know whether it's possible to determine whether the absent reflexes are from the MS, or if it's due to spinal stenosis or peripheral neuropathy, which I also have. It's really hard to sort out. I have numb feet, and also have tingling and intermittent numbness in my hands and arms, but that could also be from carpal tunnel, cubital tunnel or ulnar neuropathy, all repetitive motion disorders.

I've just been recently diagnosed with MS, so I'm still sorting things out.
