Fisher Wallace Stimulator - Have you used it?

Post by ElliotB »

I have just ordered it and am hoping this device will help me with my nerve pain. It is designed primarily to treat depression, anxiety, insomnia and apparently also helps with chronic pain also, and hopefully nerve pain). It comes with a 30 day trial period so I decided to try it and see if it helps. Just wondering if anyone here has used it and what your experience was.

Never used it or even heard of it before, so did a search in Google and one of the many hits i got was this paper from Harvard.

I just wanted to post an update. It has been 3 weeks since I started using the device. Although I had noticed a significant improvement in my sleep pattern (I have been getting into a much deeper sleep than I have in a loooooooooong time), my level of pain had not improved. Last week, I called Fisher Wallace and spoke with one of their reps who gave me some suggestions on how to more effectively use the devise. And yesterday, my pain level finally dropped dramatically, probably by 2/3rds (2/3rds less pain). I will report back again in a few weeks to see if the improvement persists or not. But at this point, I am cautiously optimistic! And totally excited! Less pain and sleeping much, much better = :-) :-) :-)

The device is highly rated - it seems that most who try/use it have good results.

I am not trying to sound negative and am very happy that you are seeing such positive results, however, reviews on the manufacturers website could in no way be considered "independent", and one would expect all the reviews on any website the manufacturer controls the content, to provide positive results.

You are correct, that is always a possibility. But an unlikely one. I assure you that I was skeptical before trying it. But I am now a believer!!! (Again, to be clear, this device is NOT a cure, but seems to give some aid in coping with certain specific symptoms that it is designed to address.)

The reviews seem legit based on my experience. Also, something which is very unusual and to me gives them additional credibility is that last names are given. I will be posting my review in a few weeks after I have given the device more time. But I have decided to definitely keep it beyond the 30 day trial period. I am thrilled with the results so far, and after such a short period of time too. I hope for even better results over a longer period of time.

If you are having trouble getting into a deep sleep, suffering from nerve pain or suffer other issues that this device is designed to help with (depression, insomnia, anxiety), it is worth giving it a try (IMHO). It comes with a 30 day trial period. Is it worth a try? That is up to you. I am certainly glad I did!
