This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

My friend was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis last year. The doctor recommended that we send her to a specialist to have her bladder “ballooned”. Her mother said “no way” and started looking on the Internet for alternative treatments. After taking Detrol she is able to sleep through the night and she is back to leading a normal life.
This is just to make people realise that only a Doctor’s diagnosis is not enough, you must not base your hope on only a doctor, you must try to get the advise of different doctors….am I right in thinking this way???

It's always good to get a second opinion. It's also good to do some research on your own. Doctors are not gods. They don't know everything.
