This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

HI.

I have not been diagnosed with MS yet but according to my doctor I have some of the symptom. My MRI showed enough to cause concern by my doctor. I am now going to be scheduled to see a neurologist.

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the have the same symptoms. If I sit down for any length of time, I have a really hard time standing up again, my knees and ankles are so stiff and hurt so bad that it feels like my legs are going to give-way at any moment. This only last about 30 seconds as long as I keep moving. I do not have muscle spasms which are commonly associated with spasisity. I have had all the test for arthritis and they have all come back negative.


Spring

I can feel your pain - mostly in my left knee.
Every time I get up it is an adventure in stability (or the lack thereof). I do not have spasms or spasticity either. But boy can that knee get stiff, especially first thing in the morning.
