I was just curious if anyone here had seen any updates on the study in Canada at the University of Calgary with Dr. Luanne Metz, or Dr. V. W. Yong?

I hope everyone is doing ok. I haven't posted here in a while.

viper,

I haven't seen anything about this drug in a long time. Sarah posted several weeks ago that the doctors at Vanderbilt are setting up their research lab again so that they can further study the ABX protocol.

Possibly more info on minocycline will appear then as the ABX becomes more in the news.

Personally, I am glad to see Vanderbilt start up this research again as the therapy appears to help some MS'ers.

I wouldn't expect any new information from that study until the end of the year at the earliest. The study was to start in January and they need to round up 200 people diagnosed within the prior few months. Then they need to treat the last one for six months before they can tabulate their initial results.
