How long after you are first diagnosed, did you have another attack?

I have had just the one attack, over a year ago, and been off medicine, both main stream, or other for about 5-6 months.
Most of my symtpoms have gone, the few I had. The numbness and tingling in the legs as almost all but left, only hot and cold issues with the one leg.

Im starting to wonder if the spinal lesion was caused by something else/

Any input, I mean i feel like a ticking time bomb, I wonder everytime I get a lil over tired, or I push a lil to fair, if I will go to bed to wake up having another attack.

Most of you talk about you know it is coming on. But I went to bed one day and woke up with numbness and then was diagnosed 3 weeks later. So now a year ++ later. Im just waiting, and kind of a little parnoid about every little thing wrong with me, is that a sign is this.

It took about 2 years for another attack to hit me. My first big attack took me by surprise too. I woke up one day and my right leg was completely numb. I was dxed 2 years later when I developed a numb right leg and l'hermittes. It seems like 2 years is my thing because I had some symptoms 2 years before my big attack that I just blew off. But it's been 3 years since I was dxed and so far nothing definite. I started Rebif after I was dxed so maybe it actually helps. Who knows. We all feel like ticking time bombs sometimes. Unfortunately it's something you'll have to get used to. It's hard but you'll learn not to freak out about every little symptom. Hang in there.
