A very sincere thankyou!

I really do appreciate your work making this all happen. All this does make me wonder about sponsorship and funding for the site. The EP site is clearly huge and not really related to TIMS. I had always thought that the folks who run TIMS had MS and that it was something of a quasi-nonprofit organization. Not that any of this changes TIMS, but I suppose I need to see my opthamologist about my rosy tinted sunglasses. I am thankful that everyone efforts here were not lost. Ken
It would be really nice to be able to put links in here

If I have included a bad link, google the word "Scholar", click link for "Google Scholar". Search for the name of the paper and author in Google Scholar.

Wow...thanks for spending your weekend sorting this out, Aaron. Really appreciated. We've gone thru this with our web sites (on a smaller scale) and it can be a nightmare- I think alot of us got a wake up call as to how much we rely on your efforts. I'm making my donation today! (see yellow donation button at bottom left of page)

From what I've read, Ken- TIMS was started by a pretty smart and compassionate guy whose friend has MS, as a way to connect him with other MS patients- for support and to share information. It is sponsored by those google ads on the sidebar and members donations- to keep the site independent. The Experience Project grew out of the success of TIMS, as a way to connect people who wanted to share specific life experiences (not only MS) You can keep those rosy glasses on...

Thanks for fixing so quickly (although it seemed an age! That's MY issue not yours!).

One thing I've noticed is the 'You have (n) unread messages' PM button on the top of the screen is no longer there.

I can go to the PM's on the side bar but not above (where the other buttons i.e., FAQ, Search, Usergroups, Profile and Log Out).

I'm using Safari if that helps.

The temporary outage reminded me of how much I value the site so it motivated me to make a donation. Got a weird message from PayPal the next day saying there would be a delay in shipping. Not sure if it is related to the other problems with teh site, but wanted you to know. (And I hope you get the donations!) - Randi

I agree with Jamie, who said:

It was SO convenient to have the "unread messages" button at the top of the screen. I am ignorant of all this computer business, but I hope the button can be reinstated.

After the relaunch of TMS i regularly get the message:
"Sorry, too many page loads in so little time!"

I then have to wait for a short while and reload the page, do be actually forwarded to the requested content page.

This happens particularly often when I want to open some more TMS forum threads in different browser-tabs or if I repeatedly preview forum posts that I'm about to write.

Would it be possible to alter the reload restriction to a more unconstrained level?

Thanks
