hi i'm new to this literally 15 mins ago. desparetely looking for fun things to do with my husband. i spend far too much time on the pc typing with one finger, i recognize it is seriously not the way to live life. having trolled my way through the internet and obtained several 'crip' mags i can find nothing. physically, about as much use as a chocolate tea pot, obviously there are limitations on what i can do, so i'm guessing pole dancing is a no no. i listen to books which i enjoy but apart from pc and ipod that's it, i'm just monumentally bored. if anyone has any ideas that would be much appreciated. thanks

Hi Wheels
welcome to TIMS. I know it sounds pretty boring but my husband and I dedicate every Wednesday evening to board games. We just have a glass of wine and play a few board games together and have a laugh. It's not the most exciting thing ever but we enjoy it!

I make music. It's one of the only things that I do now that I used to do before the MS.

But, before I met my girlfriend, downloading films and watching them on a wall with a projector saved me. I have got through a list of the top hundred films of the 40's, 50's and 60's, I have watched every Russian. French and Iranian film that I can get hold of.

I originally got the projector because I was sick of watching blurry-optic-neuritis TV. Besides, I hate TV. I gave mine away.. A huge image on the wall is perfect for optic neuritis..

I download (steal, sorry) films using torrents. Remember to download and install the klite codec package or you may not see a thing! (and subtitle files won't work..)
