I have been reading many of the posts here and found so many similarities with my situation. I have not been diagnosed, however, my doc suspects ms. He has ordered the MRI, but, unfortunately I cannot afford it at this time. It was interesting that he was the one that brought it up because about 15 years ago, my doc then suspected ms, went for the mri, but they said it was negative and the issue was dropped. The symptoms went away, but have returned with a vengence. Not everyday, but, much more frequent than they were. New ones also, blurry vision, "electric shocks". Am I on the right track in thinking that since I do not have an official diagnosis that the diet that I have seen mentioned may be a good starting point ? Sometimes I think my friends think I have had a little too much to drink because I am "off balance".  (I am not a drinker).
Thanks for listening!

Welcome, Sherry; we are glad you have found us. Do your symptoms worsen temporarily if you take a hot bath? This used to be the test for MS decades before MRI equipment was available. Since there is no one definitive test for MS, the diagnosis is made from a compilation of clinical symptoms.

Annette Funicello, a Mouseketeer from the Mickey Mouse Club, who wrote a book years ago about her MS experiences, related that people thought she was drunk because of the way she walked.

A healthy lifestyle – low-carb diet and exercise – is good for everyone. It will not hurt you. Under the Diet forum, you will find many diets described.
