Hi all! My name is Sue Story. I was diagnosed with Remitting/Relapsing MS back in 2003. My diagnosis has since changed to Secondary Prograsive.
These days I use a walker to walk short distances like within my living space and from my home to our Cafe. Doing this twice a day has actually turned out to be good for me. I'm finding that my shoulders no longer hurt
I also own a 3-wheel Pride Revo scooter that I use for longer distance travels.
I'm definately looking forward to meeting everyone here!
BTW: Growing up, I had to get used to the taunts of "tell me a story Story" or "What's the story Story?". My parents originally named me Susan but when I filled out my application for my Social Security Card I put down my first name as Sue my full middle name as Mead and my last name as Story. Doing so, without knowing it, I legally changed my first name. After I graduated from College it dawned on me that I could say to the next caller who said "tell me a story Story" "No, you tell me a story or I will sue you." Callers laugh and we move on much more easily.
Having never gotten married, it makes it much easier.
