newbie
Hi, my name is Erin. I'm new to this kind of stuff but I would like to chat with people with MS. I was diagnosed in 8/10. I live in Hawaii and only know 1 other person that has this disease. I really would like to know what other people are doing and not doing. I hope that I can get some "fill the blanks" here.

Hello and Welcome Erin.
Really feel free to post as many questions regarding the "blanks" as you want. There will be thousands of others who are wondering the exact same thing.

My name is Amy and I am from Ohio. I have been having symptoms of numbness in both legs, chronic fatigue, muscle weakness. I work for a university and was doing a recruiting fair that was outside on Thursday and temps were at least 94 so Friday I woke up feeling like I was going to die! I went to the ER found out that I have very low magnesium and Vitamin D. I also have leg and arm tremors or they just simply jerk. I see my doc on Monday but ER doc was concerned. Any opinions?
Re: newbie
hi amy, welcome to the forum. glad to hear someone tested both d3 and magnesium. sounds like they were on the right track. do you have your exact lab test results? did they give you any diet/supplement recommendations? consider adding a zinc test into the mix, unless they tested that already. if you're interested, you might like to read some of the info in my 'signature' links below. ttfn!
