Hi. I have been having weird neurological symptoms for a few years now. I always figured it was neuropathy because my grandma had that. But recently I saw a neurologists who is going to perform an MRI to check for MS because my CT brain scan had shown that my frontal lobe has atrophy. Does anyone else have atrophy?
I have had severe migraines in the past so the ER has shown differences in my scans over time. I have fatigue most days. I have had these weird episodes of numbness and tingling. I also get these sharp stabby nerve pains in my body and head. Once or twice I thought I was having a stroke and had to call 911 because my left side went numb. My neurologist doesn't really know much of this info. I always forget to follow up when these things happen. I feel that my memory is totalled. I miss a lot of doctor visits.
I'm hoping for some kind of conclusion to all of these physical problems as far as a diagnosis goes as it would be nice to finally have an explanation. Does that make sense?
I'm 35 and female. I have a daughter and I feel like my lack of energy and function has really made things hard for her.
I hope everyone is having a good day today.

If you can find a holistic doctor he might be able to determine what is messing up your nervous system. This is a toxic world and we have to do our best to stay away from the toxins. Some of these toxins are in the food we eat. Look at your enviroment and try to get rid of all the toxins you are exposed to and you might get better. Some people find a healthy diet and they get better.

To go along with the idea from want2bike, I encourage you to start by removing sugar (in ALL forms and also the sugar alcohols) from your diet. Did you see this feature from the TV program, "60 Minutes"? http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7403942n
