This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

Hi. I'm 30, my dad is 50 and everytime I google symptoms of what he has the first thing to come up is always MS. he has so many symptoms. First it started as tired and dizziness he actually even passed out at work twice. They said it was vaso depressor syncope...this was 9 years ago, now he's still tired all the time, sore back, then swollen optic nerve he cant see out of 1 eye and gets triple vision in the other, now he gets the shakes when he stretches, as of yesterday..... Headaches, numbness in hands and feet, they call it carpal tunnel. I feel like the doctors should have already figured it out when all I do is type the symptoms in and for everyone of them MS is the first to show. On the 23, 3 days ago, he had an MRI and had a CAT scan before....I know from reading you cannot diagnose MS by a CAT Scan. My mom is a worrier anyways and because this is such a slow diagnosis it's making if worse for her. It all just seems to plain to see to me!!!!

The important thing is to figure out what is causing the symptoms. Diet is the best means to getting healthy again so I would look at the diet section on this site. There are many toxins which can effect the nervous system so try and locate what your father has been exposed to and eliminate them. Might get the book Dr. Hyman recommends.
