My journey began with an an appointment with an internal medicine Doctor. My initial sign that something was wrong was a sensation of my right three toes and right three fingers
that felt like they were asleep.
I was thinking that it was related to my back and perhaps a pinched nerve. He ordered an MRI and arthritis was found in my back, neck and knees. Also plaque was found in the brain.
Looking back I have had signs that things were going awry. Several years ago I had difficulty swallowing food and had that checked out.
Being tired after a hard day at work is normal but when i feel so tired after 11 hours sleep I begin to wonder what is happening. Feeling off balance and if I am walking on a bed mattress is hard to figure out why this is all happening. My left leg goes into spasm every night as I try to sleep. That beats the intense charley horse that doesn't go away.
I had a hernia that developed from constitpation from all the drugs that I have been taking.
Double vision occurred out of the blue on a Saturday morning when I was about to travel on the freeway was scary. Hallucinations arise from time to time out of the blue. Issues with the need to urinate at a moments notice along with bowels that seem to function differently adds to my mental confusion.
I have been injecting Avonex for almost six months now. That makes me very emotional and sick for a day usually. My loss of appetite is showing up in my clothing size now.
I go into uncontrollable itching on my upper body. The last few days I have developed Raymauds Phenomenon.
It is getting harder to do my job and the depression and fatigue makes me wonder why I continue...
I am sick1.

if you can ask for tests of serum vit d3, serum magnesium and serum zinc, then bring the results including units back here for analysis, there might be some useful steps you could take. might not be the easiest thing to get the doc to order them.. if you have trouble i can link you up to some supporting research to take to show the doc.

Doesn't sound like the drugs are helping. Study in Europe show people taking the drugs do worse. Here is what Dr. Hyman has to say about finding the answer to MS.
