DXed twelve days ago.
Hi everyone, I'm 25 years old and was diagnosed on 3/15 after a couple years of symptoms that seemed unrelated and didn't make much sense. An episode of Bell's palsy, numbness, mild ataxia. I woke up on 3/14 with a terrible headache, vertigo, and was staggering like I was drunk. Next thing I know, I have ten active lesions and have RRMS.
Diagnosed with RRMS March 2013.
Rebif May 2013 - September 2014.
Gilenya since November 2014.
EDSS 3.

Welcome to ThisIsMS, aredmosquito. We are glad you found us.
My hypothesis: excess insulin (hyperinsulinemia) plays a major role in MS, as developed in my initial post: http://www.thisisms.com/forum/general-discussion-f1/topic1878.html "Insulin – Could This Be the Key?"

Hi! I think we share a diagnoseaversary! We'll always have March 15 and the subsequent disappointment of missing the St. Patrick's Day parade.
