Hi all - glad to have found you and looking forward to getting to know you all. My name is Jo, I'm 45 living in GA and loving life! I'm a proud mum of 3 fantastic kids, I'm also a proud Army Mom - my 19 yr old son is en route to hot sandy places. He's having a ball, I'm a wreck, but a very proud wreck. I also have a 23 yr old son and a 13 yr old daughter who keep me on my toes!
I was dx in 2002 after going totally numb around my middle. I'm still flare free but have some nerve damage that affects my forearms and hands; I'm also heat affected - this summer has not been too much fun! I don't take any medication for my MS and have stopped all other meds other than painkillers occasionally and vitamins/herbal supplements.

Have to appreciate your love for life. I love it, too, in spite of MS

Seems we have some commonalities. I don't take any MS meds, either. Only supplements. Did have steroidal IV therapy that helped, tho.

And, I hear you on the heat fatique/exhaustion issues. It's bad enough, here, in MD. Can't even imagine how much worse it must be in GA, right now. Very hard to stay cool, I'm sure
