Yes-another newbie!!

I found you all when looking for info on FTY720-and glad I did!

I was "officially" diagnosed in 2003- but had my first symptoms in 1988. I have relapsing-remitting type, and currently take Avonex. (not to mention the cabinet full of pills!)

My biggest concern these days is my brain-I have the brain fuzzies...can't remember anything, forget words, don't recognize people...LOL. I'm still working-though I think my employer wants rid of me (I miss a lot of work time) but I can't pay my bills with social security...so I'm just continuing to struggle along like a lot of us I guess.

I could go on and on...but I won't bore you on my first post! Thanks for reading!

Well I'm glad you did find us!

I'm not sure if it's a great thing, but you'll find a lot of other people here who share the same frustrations you do.

Welcome to the site.

Hello Amazon, welcome to the board.

Aaargh the fuzzy brain syndrome! (that was my understated way of saying I share your difficulty). I rely heavily on the Firefox browser's automatic spell check and The Sage dictionary and thesaurus (docked in the tool bar) when terminology and spelling prove elusive...

Looking forward to getting to know you,

Elia
P.S. Good quotation from Audre Lord

Hi Amazon,
Increasingly I find I have to check up on facts which I know I know, but often believe I haven't quite got right – especially all this medical jargon we have to deal with.
Lickily, I've never hod much tribble with spilling.
Anyway, welcome to the site!

A Little Poem Regarding Computer Spell Checkers...

Eye halve a spelling chequer
It came with my pea sea
It plainly marques four my revue
Miss steaks eye kin knot sea.

Eye strike a key and type a word
And weight four it two say
Weather eye am wrong oar write
It shows me strait a weigh.
As soon as a mist ache is maid
It nose bee fore two long
And eye can put the error rite
Its rare lea ever wrong.

Eye have run this poem threw it
I am shore your pleased two no
Its letter perfect awl the weigh
My chequer tolled me sew.
