I've already rudely shouldered my way into the forum but I thought I'd better introduce myself.

I'm Catherine, 28 yrs old in Toronto, just married in August.

I was dx unofficially last November, officially in January 07. I was a lucky one - woke up one morning with no sensation on my right side. Went to the ER, lots of worry and drama, blah blah blah, eventually had a vertigo attack, then came out three months later with "I've seen a lot of MS and this looks like it. Go to the MS clinic to confirm" and here I am 9 months later taking Rebif. Bang badda BOOM.

Planning to start for kids in a year (yay, no more CRABS!) and otherwise my life is pretty mundane.

PS. I wanted to brag that my MS Walk team raised $7000 last year and we're totally gonna double that in 08 :D

Hello there Punchy!! Welcome. I have 2 kids, 6 and 4 and theres nothing better than NO MEDS!!!! Good luck with that. I have had MS for 17 years ( I'm 33) and at this point no significant disability! There are some cool people here with all different backgrounds and such, so again, welcome!

Hi Punchy,

Sounds like you and I have similar stories. My onset was really fast, happened last January, had vertigo, ON, numbness on the left side, and I now take rebif.

How's the rebif treating you?
