"We're sorry Mr. Wilkens, but we have some information about your wife," said one trooper.

"Tell me! Did you find her?" Wilkens shouted.

The troopers looked at each other. One said, "We have some bad news, some good news, and some really great news. Which do you want to hear first? " ...

Emergency call

Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps, "My friend is dead! What can I do?". The operator says "Calm down. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then a shot is heard. The new symbol for the coulomb, based on the greek letter omega used for the ohm, is shown ...

MS and memory loss

One of the most frustrating aspects of my journey thus far has been the cognitive/memory challenges that I am facing in my day-to-day life.

Today, my mother came over to help me clean out/organize my garage. As we are going through the boxes, I find the box that has the Christmas gift I bought for her over the summer while on vacation. I said to her, "hey, your Christmas gift is in this box. I ...

MS 2.0

Now that Neurologists are not ready to give up or share ownership of MS, I was thinking if it makes sense to create something like MS 2.0 and let progressive and forward looking scientists study MS in conjunction with CCSVI. The original autoimmune continues on MS 1.0 path with further research.

Of course, patients should get a choice whether they want to be classified under 2.0 or 1.0 with option to switch between the two ...
