Master's thesis on stem cell treatments for MS

Hi everyone!
By name is Maria, I'm 28 years old and I have a rapidly progressing form of secondary progress of multiple sclerosis. As a means of maintaining my sanity and continuing my fight, I am working on getting my master's degree in biotechnology.
The theme I chose for my thesis is " stem cells as treatment for MS"
I have been bugging all the neurologists I can find or working in this area to ...

(HSCT) promising as MS Therapy

Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) promising as MS Therapy

High-dose immunosuppressant therapy and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) induced durable freedom from relapses and MRI lesions in patients with multiple sclerosis, researchers reported here.

At evaluations performed 1 and 2 years after the procedure, patients showed no gadolinium-enhancing lesions on MRI scans, and only six of the 24 patients receiving the transplants experienced relapses, reported Richard A. Nash, MD, of Colorado Blood Cancer ...

Stem Cell Advance: Human Thymus Tissue Grown In Mice
Functioning human thymus tissue is a significant step toward treating autoimmune disease in humans.
http://www.medicaldaily.com/articles/15 ... isease.htm

Researchers for the first time have grown functioning human thymus tissue from stem cells in the laboratory.

BEGAN HSCT - 5/13/13

Hello,

I am currently undergoing HSCT in Chicago. I had my first dose of chimo on Monday and was discharged to the local hotel afterwards. Today I started the neuropen shots and the antibiotics. My stem cells will be harvested on Thursday next week.

Here is the thing: My MS has flared up somewhat after the first dose of chimo - stiffer, numbness in hands and right foot. I am told that it's just because ...

HSCT

I have decided to have HSCT procedure. I know it's still experimental but it has good results. I know I could wait sitting on my hands taking useless MS medications and wait miracle cure or I can do something now to help myself. I am hoping to have this done over the summer months and recover all fall and winter back home in Colorado.

Which doctor? or which diagnosis would Beike or Wu require?

Hi all. 8) Firstly, while i've read George's valid comments about CCSVI's controversiality, i'm still wondering whether Beike and/or Wu integrate these routines, or are they non-integrative:
(1) CCSVI (in least risky way - I.E. can they predetermine if i'm too reactive to same?
(2) myoablation (couldn't even find a layman definition of myoablation in any online MS glossary)
(3) any other cutting-edge modalities, such as the ...
