Does anyone know the efficacy rate of Tysabri? I tried to find it on pubmed, but I don't really know where to look in the endless reports.

Endless illness

Just curious if anyone has gone through the things I have. Started Tysabri 2 months ago so, 2 infusions. I have not stopped vomiting and having diarreah since then. Terrible stomach pain and constant nausea. My Neuros seem a bit lost and only hear that I possibly developed an antibody to Tysabri. I have researched a ton and have not found any similar long term issues. They suspended my infusions immediately and I have been ...

PML Cases Now Reach 302

The number of increased PML cases with Tysabri use now sits at 302. This is the smallest increase (4) in cases in a number of months. Not sure if that's due to Tysabri users stopping usage after 2 years or JC virus testing before starting the drug.

Anyone else have low potassium while on Tysabri?

I cannot get my potassium levels up and its getting worse and worse! The doctors cannot figure out why I cannot keep potassium in my system. We should have around 4700 mgs in our bodies daily with diet and I take 9750 mgs a day in SUPPLEMENTS just to keep it barely minimum levels! The only thing I can attribute this to is the Tysabri treatments. I've been on Tysabri for over 4 years and ...

Doctor wants to switch me to this but I'm scared stupid.

The virus seems like a major risk, maybe not worth it. My dad hates the idea as well after reading up on it.

The thing about it is the risk goes up the longer you are on it, then if you get off of it you are kind of screwed because you get worse than you were before and very quickly. Am I wrong about any of this?

Any experiences with RRMS?
