Which way to go?

I'm 20 years old. For the past 5 or 6 years I've had problems with my hands and feet stinging when grabbing or stepping on things a certain way. Feels like I'm grabbing and stepping on needles sometimes. I've researched this issue for years, and yes, MS was part of that research, but not a lot of thought was put into it. I've been to the chiropractor a few times (I have minor scoliosis... ...

Hi everyone!

This is my first post on this site, which I'm very happy to have found. Especially this part of the forum, while I've searched around the web for quite a bit to find something for people who are considerd young being diagnosed with ms.

I recived my diagnosis exactly 3 weeks ago today. It came as a total shock. I've always been healthy and active, and I thought that nothing would stop that ...

I'm new to this.

In 2010 I had back surgery due to a disc herniating into my sciatic nerve. It took almost a year for them to do the surgery because I didn't have insurance. After it was all said and done, I did keep my persistent leg pain. It burns almost all day everyday, and my right leg is significantly weaker then my left leg. For the past 2 years muscle spasms have been a major issue as ...

Hi everyone,

Turning 25 tomorrow.

I suppose that I have graduated from this sub-forum.

Every year without knowing it I have passed the day
When the last fires will wave to me
And the silence will set out
    Tireless traveler
Like the beam of a lightless star

    Then I will no longer
Find myself in life as in a strange garment
    Surprised at the earth
And the love of one woman
    And the shamelessness of men
    As today writing ...

19 With MS

I was diagnosed a year ago after having a seizure in my dorm room and waking up blind at age 18. Since then, I've had botched spinal taps, bad drug reactions and little hope. Luckily, I changed doctors and am now feeling better than ever. I've taken my experiences and started a blog, especially for women with MS, in which I discuss medications, healthy recipes, MS friendly exercise and more. Here's the link for anyone ...

Diagnosed less than a month ago. Since then I have tried taking to "intensive nutrition" and Vitamin D supplements. Working on improving that regimen all the time.
Anyway, a little about my sitch: I'm a full time college student from the PNW about to turn 22. First symptom, some tingling and numbness in right foot, stiff knees. Leading to diagnosis-nystagmus.
Right now I am in the middle of an exacerbation. Steroids got rid of the ...

How to get diagnosed in the early stages / at a young age.

Lately, I've noticed my legs have been jumpy and twitchy. I googled it out of boredom, and when ms came up, I was drawn to it because my aunt has it. I've experienced blurred vision. I used to have phenomenal vision. Now I can't read things I used to be able to. It comes and goes. I'm always exhausted. Even if I get twelve hours of sleep, I'll come home from school and fall asleep ...
