This Is MS Multiple Sclerosis Community: Knowledge & Support

I have been on Rebif for 3 months. Had a bout of diverticulitis 3 wks ago, cannot seem to fully recover, even after hefty antibiotics. Not sure it is the diverticulitis, or just inflamation, but low grade fever as well, for 3 wks. Taking tons of Tylenol and Advil while on Rebif. Stopped Rebif a week ago.
Bloodwork shows low red blood cell count, low hemoglobin, low hematocrit (anemia), and high sed rate, and segs which points to infection? Or maybe from Rebif?
Seen my gyn, not gyn problem. Seeing my gastro guy, having weekly blood work for 2 wks. But gastro guy doens't know much about MS and Rebif, MS guy doesnt know much about gastro....
sigh...
how long does it take rebif to get out of your system?
advice or info anyone?

Sorry to hear you are having all of these problems. I took Rebif for 7 months and the biggest problem was the flu sx but my bloodwork was always not good and re-checked after every month. There was something wrong every time.

I finally switched to Tysabri. I took a vacation of 15 days from Rebif before starting Tysabri to get the Rebif out of my system.
