Well, Day 1 is winding down nicely.

Started this morning by having the Hickman line placed....and then I was brought directly to my room. They started hydration shortly thereafter. Had to have a repeat sinus CT as the one I had 2 weeks ago was NOT clear....so they did another.

First dose of chemo came a lot earlier than anticipated: 5pm! (last time it was close to 10pm!)

Went in without a hitch and it's now 7:45pm and I still feel okay - no problems. Have a headache but had it before they started the chemo. I think I will ask them for something for it.

I was anticipating being really sick...so now I'm sitting and waiting. And just for good measure, once again to tempt fate, I ate "crap" (ring ding anyone? teehee). But alas, no sickness - as of yet anyhow....

One down, three to go.

I've managed to watch two movies while I've been here so far... I'm quite bored....doesn't help that I'm here alone. :(

Stay strong, Keri. One day down and three to go. We are all thinking of you.

Keri,
Glad it is started and you are on your way! They really had you moving on Day 1. Just checked in to see how it was going! I got N/V on day 4 too. I have a feeling it is going to get you this time. Glad you took the DVD player!
Thanks for the update!!!
Blessings......barb
