Re: Thigh shots
I've been on Copaxone for about 3 months and have issues when I inject my thighs as well. I am heavier and had the needle going too deep and was getting huge lumps that would last for a week. I reduced the depth and the lumps got smaller, but I still get them and occasional bruising. I called shared...

Re: Free Copaxone
thanks for the input, but I will wait to see her reply anyway. For all I know, it the meds may be current. Thank you for the legality warning anyway. -bn That post is from 2009, the meds are most definitely not current... Besides the legality issue, taking someone else's Rx is not really the smarte...

Diagnosed Today
After winding up in the hospital for four days the first week of February with optic neuritis, I was diagnosed with RRMS today. My brain MRI was clear but I have 2 lesions on my spine. My neurologist was just waiting for my spinal fluid to come back from the Mayo Clinic and it came back with all of ...

Re: Introducing me, I guess :)
Hi Randi, I'm in the same boat with optic neuritis. I was admitted to Duke University Hospital for IV steroid treatments a week ago and my vision is coming back. Mine kind of looked like a fogged up glass with the middle of the picture almost missing. The middle part is back, but still not 100% clea...

Good luck with your appt for a 2nd opinion. I've got my follow up at Duke on 3/13. They should have my lumbar puncture back by then. Duke is about 45min to an hour away for me to, but it was well worth it IMO.

Re: Need some help - Just diagnosed with optic neuritis
Wow, 6 weeks is a long time to wait for an MRI. I just had a bout with what wound up being optic neuritis last week and was immediately sent to Duke University Hospital to see a neuro opthamologist who had the MRI done through the ER. I was then admitted for 3 days to have IV steroid treatments and ...

Re: Undiagnosed, here to learn...
Where do you live in NC? The reason I'm asking is that Duke has one of the best neurology departments in the country. Last week I had a bout of what turned out to be optic neuritis, which is often a precursor to MS and wound up being admitted to Duke University Hospital to have testing done and get ...
