Doctors that prescribe LDN - current list for 2005?

I put this list together from the sticky 'Doctors that prescribe LDN' because I'm in the unenviable position of looking for a doctor that will do a phone consult for a reasonable price (my old doctor was Patrick Scott in Wisconsin). I'm specifically looking for someone in the Portland, Oregon area, ...

I took Betaseron for 10 years, Avonex for a year and a half, and now Copaxone + LDN. Copaxone would not have been a choice except the Interferons had gotten too hard on my white counts.

Thanks for the post, willy. I agree with you in that I believe the NMSS society does good things for people. I had a 45-minute counseling session over the phone with a support person who happened to get my call a couple of months ago; he did an excellent job in helping to talk me through a stressful...

The diagnosis, for me, 12 years ago was devastating. At the time, I basically pushed all those who wanted to help me away. I got over it, but it took me time and I had to come to the realization that life was going to go on and I had the choice of either dealing with it as best I could, or not. The ...

LDN and dosage times

I started taking LDN 3mg at bedtime 3 days ago. I've noticed that it causes sleeplessness for me, which is counterproductive when it comes to my symptoms. When I sleep well, I feel much better throughout the day. Everything I've read about LDN says that everyone takes it at bedtime. My questions are...

Teaching a pharmacy who doesn't (but could) to compound LDN

I don't know if this is a stupid question, or not. I live close to a local compounding pharmacy who has not compounded LDN but claims they have access to a US national pharmacological resource that provides directions on how they would take the standard dose of Naltrexone to the low-dose weight. I'm...

Thanks for the input Larry, it means a lot.

So are you going to go back to 3mg after having had taken 4.5 for awhile, or are you going to stay with 4.5? Did ramping up to 4.5 give you an even bigger improvement? Can you tell me a bit about how you feel better overall?

Has anyone discovered any additional information about this question? Considering that the two (theoretically) work at cross-purposes, and I do currently take Avonex, I'd like to try and be as informed as I can be aand make a better decision about whether I want to combine the two drugs. Obviously, ...

Hi, my name is Chris and I was diagnosed with RRMS in September of 1992. I'm a 39 year-old male who has always had invisible symptoms (except to me). Went through a long stretch (almost 10 years) without exacerbations, and due to some major stress levels over the past 6 months have had a couple of s...
