Scott thank you so much for the reply. I will make sure to ask about infection and push to have more blood work done. He did a full CBC and Lyme test as well as my vitamin levels which were all WNL. At current I am feeling much better then what I was. I just hope that it never occurs again. ...

Doxycycline could be safer, avoiding this tendency of minocycline. In Lyme treatment, minocycline has recently been avoided in favor of doxycycline. Minocycline was observed to cause pseudotumor cerebri, which seems to be related to IIH.
I prefer doxy.
