Re: tattoos and ms bad idea?

Some tattoos, because of their shape, can interact with the magnetic field of an MRI to produce localized (and painful) heating of the skin.

Re: Yikes! Can you spot the gorilla in this CT scan?

That is plain scary. Has anyone ever met with the radiologist who read their MRI? I was thinking of trying to do that next time as I am curious about my brainstem.

Blossom, I do hope that tattoo technology quickly advances so your gorilla can dance on your butt. Less chance of being missed. :P

Re: MS and tattoos, are they safe?

My partner has MS and a four tattoos, none big. I had thought that they were fine with MS but the fact that so many MSers seem to be covered in tattoos got me thinking. Firstly, tattoos don't cause MS obviously but the onset and worst attacks ...

Hi all! I got my dx in deember of 2011, and began taking Rebif in March 2012. Prior to beginning the therapy, I acquired a few tattoos, and never had any issue with healing or ink retention. My most recent tattoo, just two weeks ago (and a few months into therapy) has taken forever to ...

Re: Has anyone been bothered by police for public intoxicati

Yeah... I'm thinking of just asking my doctor for a note to carry around with me, or maybe I'll get a tattoo that says "I HAVE MS!" on an easily noticeable part of me, or at least easily exposed part of me, heh. It's not so much the looks and stares; I'm naturally ...
