This might be one of those DUH! type questions but here goes...........I've done many many posts in the forums and belonged here for awhile now, but never have included links within my posts.

How do I do this? Just like including links to sites in E-Mails?

I didn't even try because I didn't want to create some screwed up post here on the site.

I'd appreciate the instruction..................... or just tell me I'm a DUH!

Thanks :?

Treez

Hi treez, when you want to post a link, just copy the url from the site

exp: http://www.thisisms.com

and then paste it in your message, you will then highlight the link

and on the right side at the top of the message window you will see this :

URL

just click this and that will make the highlighted section clickable as a link..

or once the url is pasted in, just write this at the start and this at the end of the url

the address will be in this area

In some cases urls are made clickable links auntomatically, and I think this forum is also like that, I just use the other ways out of habit :-)

Thanks Philip for your excellent (as always) response.

Indeed URLs are clickable automatically, so long as you include the 'http://' part... so just typing out:

http://www.thisisms.com

will show up as a clickable link when you submit !
