They often talk about the "isolated syndrome" but I have RRMS or may even have SPMS and when I take my Lipitor, I always improve with each dose increase. I don't have a scientific explanation, just anecdotale improvements that are very real, involving my left leg. Carole

BBB permeability is not something I read of very much of recently. My early (mis)understanding of MS was that this was the main difference between someone who had MS and someone who didnt. So its reassuring to hear the lipitor has two modes of benefit. Inflamation reduction and BBB permeability reduction.
